   What does volume measure?

   Build a cuboid that is 2 cubes wide, 3 cubes long, and 2 cubes tall. How many cubes fit inside?

   Find the volume of a box that is 4 cm long, 2 cm wide, and 3 cm tall.

   Now find the surface area of the same box. Surface area is the total area of ALL the faces (the outside).

   Find the surface area of a 4cm × 2cm × 3cm box.

   What is the surface area of a cube with side length 3 cm? (Hint: a cube has 6 identical square faces.)
