   Imagine you're holding your guitar 🎸. Your left hand fingers are like little hammers — they press down the strings to make different notes.

   What do you do with your finger in a hammer-on? 🎯

   Let's practise on your imaginary guitar. First, pluck the open string (no fingers). Then hammer your first finger down on the 1st fret. Can you hear the note jump up? 🎵

   Let's do a hammer-on together on a real guitar 🎸. We'll go from open string to the 2nd fret.

   Now try a hammer-on from the 1st fret to the 3rd fret on the same string. Your first finger stays on the 1st fret, then hammer your ring finger onto the 3rd fret. 🎶

   When you do a hammer-on, do you pluck the string again? 🤔

   Imagine you hammer-on from the 2nd fret to the 5th fret. Which finger hammers down? 🎸
