Click "Start free" on the homepage and follow the registration steps. You will create a parent account first, then add your child's profile with their year group and subjects.

Children log in with a simple PIN code at /child-login. You set the PIN when you create their profile. No email address is needed for children.

Whizlo covers Reception through to A-Level (ages 4-18) for core subjects, plus ABRSM music grades. We currently have the deepest content for Year 2 and Year 3, with more year groups being expanded every week.

Core subjects are Maths, English (Reading and Writing), and Science. Optional subjects include Music (ABRSM), Computing, History, Geography, RE, and Languages. Parents can enable optional subjects from the child's profile.

Whizlo offers a free tier with access to core subjects and daily assignments. Premium plans unlock additional features like game tokens, detailed analytics, and extra subjects. See our pricing section on the homepage for full details.

Yes. There are no contracts or lock-in periods. You can cancel your subscription at any time and continue using Whizlo until the end of your billing period.

Yes. Family plans cover multiple children under one account. We also offer school pricing for teachers and administrators. Contact us at team@whizlo.app for school enquiries.

Whizlo's AI planner creates personalised assignments based on your child's year group, mastery levels, and the National Curriculum. It focuses on weaker areas while reinforcing strengths, so every session is tailored to your child.

Lessons teach new concepts with guided steps and explanations. Homework tests what your child has already learned. Parents can set either type when creating an assignment.

We recommend around 30-60 minutes per day. Assignments are designed to be completable in one sitting. Your child earns XP and game tokens for each completed assignment.

Yes. Parents can create assignments from the dashboard, choosing subjects, topics, and whether it is a lesson or homework. You can also let Whizlo auto-generate assignments based on your child's progress.

Yes. We take data protection seriously. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and stored securely on EU-based servers (Hetzner, Germany). We never sell or share personal data with third parties.

We collect the minimum needed to provide the service: parent email, child first name, year group, and learning progress. Children do not need to provide an email address. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Only if you invite them. Whizlo supports co-parenting through family invites. You can invite another parent as a Co-Parent (full access) or Viewer (read-only). Invites expire after 7 days.

Games require a modern browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Try clearing your browser cache, disabling ad blockers, and ensuring JavaScript is enabled. If the problem persists, contact us at team@whizlo.app.

Whizlo works on any device with a modern web browser — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. No app download is required. For the best experience on tablets, we recommend using landscape mode for games.

Click "Sign in" then "Forgot password" on the login page. Enter your email address and we will send you a reset link. If you need to reset your child's PIN, you can do so from the parent dashboard.

Contact us at team@whizlo.app and we will process your account deletion. All personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days in accordance with GDPR.

Yes. You can view and download progress reports from the parent dashboard. If you need a full data export, contact us at team@whizlo.app.
